Here you'll find a 20-day trial of Burton Vision including Sight Words 1 and part of Visual Knowledge Level 1.

Things to try

• Spelling Test: Visual Knowledge & Sight Words offer spelling tests you can try. Each spelling test offers a pre-test, matching test before the main test.
• Comprehension Test: Choose a test in the 'Comprehension Tests' folder, then click 'Comprehension Test' on the right side to take an exam.
• Glossary: Try going to Sight Words 1, and pick 'Dictionary' to see the glossary.
• Captioned Movies: In Visual Knowledge, open the 'Captioned Movies' folder, select a movie, then press 'Play Large'.
• Multiple Choice Test: Visual Knoledge: Vocabulary 1 offers an icon based multiple choice test.
• Viewing Results: On the main screen, click the 'Options' button and look in the 'My Reports' tab to view records from Spelling, Writing and Multichoice tests.

How to install on Windows

• Download and run the Windows installer.
• If Burton Vision tells you to upgrade or install Java, go here.

How to install on Macintosh

• Download and open the package on the right.
• Run the installer.
• The installer will place the application into your Applications folder.

• Java version 1.4 or newer must be installed. Windows Vista users need Java 1.6 Update 10 or newer.
• Pentium III or newer recommended.
